What do I need for our first meeting?
Below is some of the information we will want to discuss in our first meeting:
  • background and history of the project.
  • desired goals and outcomes for the project (and how you'll know that they've been achieved).
  • intended user or audience groups (if more than one group, what is the order of priority).
  • context of the project's use (where and how will the project be viewed/presented/accessed).
  • possible ways the project may expand or change in the future.
  • project timelines and priorities of tasks, if any.
  • what will be possible within budget and timeframe.
  • who on the project team will be responsible for final design and content decisions.

How long will it take to complete a specific project?
Every project is different. CHAI core will gather information about your specific needs and discuss with you the hours estimated for your project.

What can I do to keep things moving along well?
Let us know as soon as possible when you would like something changed.
You should feel free and are encouraged to change anything that you do not like at any time during the process. The sooner that any change or requirement is understood, the sooner it may be integrated and the less hours the new concept will require to incorporate into the existing project.

Your feedback is essential.
We need you to respond to emails, phone calls, and questions in a timely manner. CHAI core will request that the project team review the work 'in progress' to ensure that the direction of the project maintains consistency with your teams needs and target dates.

What is web hosting?
Web hosting refers to the process of publishing a web site so that it is available to the world on the Web.

What is a domain name?
A domain name is a sequence of letters and numbers which determine the address of your site. This site's domain name is "chaicore.com." You need to register a domain name before your web site becomes accessible at this address. The Chaicore will help you with this if you require it.

Why won't my audio and/or video files play properly?
There are several possible explanations. The correct solution depends on the type of problem your visitors are having. Please contact us with the issue(s) you are having and we can help you in correcting the problem.

Are there limits to the revisions I can make?
Graphics
A quote for the look and feel design by Chai Core normally includes up to 3 samples and up to 3 revisions (in total) of the samples. (If more revisions are required, there will be additional fee above the original quote as it will require more hours by the graphic designer).

Web Architecture
Although the architecture is as flexible as we can make it, alterations in the functionality of the website once the development has started will require the architecture (and any development that has occured) to be revised (and thus may move any target dates further out and may require more hours).

If you have more questions concerning this issue please visit our Getting Started section or contact a CHAI team member.
